I figured that it's about time for another update!
This past month has been AMAZING. I was able to get a job working at a New Balance store, and so far I seem to be picking up things pretty quickly. {I've never worked in Retail before!} I love it! I get to work with PEOPLE! No more stuffy Library Stacks for me! And It's indoors with Air Conditioning! No more sunburns and sweating to death. I am SOOOOOO grateful that I was able to get a Job there! And I already love my co-workers. I believe that this is the best job I have ever had. One of my good friends worked there for a few years and loved it too...I'm pretty sure this is going to work out nicely!!!
This month I was also called to be the Beehive Advisor in my Family Ward. {The Beehives are the 12 & 13 year old girls at Church.}Today was my first day with them and they are FABULOUS. I am so excited to work with them! It's kind of funny because I babysat most of them when I was younger....I'm going to have to get used to them calling me Sister Martin. I am also excited to work with the other leaders! I know most of the quite well {that tends to happen when you are in a ward from the time you were 3 months old.}and I love them! I'm sure that there will be many more stories on this subject.
Anyway, everything has been wonderful. I will have to blog about my trip to Lake Havasu City too...I just got back, and it was a blast! Until then, Loves!
